Herman Larry Buffin's Obituary
Big Rapids-Herman "Larry" Buffin, age 69 of Grant Center passed away Saturday December 14, 2013. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI. on September 11, 1944, the son of Herman K. and Dorothy(Walch) Buffin. Larry was employed for 45 years at Brink's Body Shop in Big Rapids. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Camping was also a favorite family activity to include his hunting trips to Idaho. Larry is survived by Penny, his wife of 50 years, three sons, Larry(Vicki) Buffin, Jeffery Buffin and Kenneth Buffin, one sister, Herma Kay "Cookie" (Don) Bohanon,, 4 grandchildren, Tiffany, Jennifer, Brandon and Kayla, plus 4 great grandchildren, Bethany, Hailey, Landen and Michael. Also surviving is a special aunt, Donna Sala. Larry was preceded in death by his parents plus his Uncle Stanley Sala and cousin Vern "Skip" Buffin. A memorial service for Larry will be announced for a later date.
