Hilda Morden's Obituary
Hilda M. Morden, age 93, of Rodney, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Hilda was born July 6, 1928, the daughter of David and Florence (Aris) Dexter. She married the love of her life, George Morden, in 1949 and together the two grew their family to include two daughters, Maggie and Sue. She loved to garden and enjoyed singing. Church was important to her, and her faith was strong. Quiet and sweet were words used to describe Hilda. Everyone loved her, as she made it so easy with her caring nature. She enjoyed watching the wildlife out her window and reading whenever able.
Loyal, loving, generous, quiet and sweet were all words used to describe Hilda.
Left to cherish her memory is; daughters, Margaret "Maggie" Verburg, Susan Hosteter; Brothers, David (Sally) Dexter, Alfred (Janet) Dexter, Martin Dexter, William (Vicky) Dexter; Sisters, Dorothy Kohlhoff, Ruth Narlock, Dora Keaton; granddaughters, Gwenda (Clint) Gould, Laurissa (Mike) Oswalt, and Angie Verburg; great-grandchildren, Connor and Kendal Gould, Gage, Shawn, and Blake Oswalt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David Dexter and mother Florence Dexter; husband, George Morden; sisters, Evelyn Oates, Martha Stahl; brother, George Dexter.
