Howard C Whipple's Obituary
Six Lakes- Howard Charles Whipple Jr., age 69, of Six Lakes, passed away on April 12, 2016 at home in Six Lakes, Michigan. Howard was born on July 7, 1946 in Hastings, Michigan, the son of Howard and Dorothy (Challender) Whipple. He was raised in Lansing, Michigan. Howard graduated from Montabella High School in Edmore. Howard started working at General Motors at the age of 18. He worked there for twenty plus years, and retired in 1984.
Howard enjoyed Fishing, hunting and gardening. He was a member of UAW.
Howard will be deeply missed by his wife of twenty six years Annette Sylvia Whipple of Six Lakes Michigan. His five children, Veronica of Potterville, Sharmin of California, Callie of Ohio, India of Grand Rapids, and Carly of Six Lakes; several grandchildren; one brother Mike of Six Lakes; two sisters Debbie of Grand Rapids and Tammy of Lyons; and several nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents, and one brother Donald.
A celebration of Howard's life will be on May 15, 2016 at the Douglas Township Hall in Entrican at 1:00pm. Refreshments will be provided. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the family.
