Hugh "Pudge" Richard Dulyea's Obituary
Hugh (Pudge) Richard Dulyea, of Lakeview passed away at home on Saturday, November 2, 2019. He was born in Grand Rapids on May 6, 1947, the son of Ronald and Delores (Smith) Dulyea. He was employed as a cement finisher for over 30 years with much of the time for Don Andrews Concrete Construction out of Greenville. After his retirement, he kept busy transporting Amish and made many important friendships doing this. On November 12, 1986, Hugh married the love of his life, Terri of 32 years. He enjoyed hunting with his son, movie dates with his daughter, and family events with this grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Hugh is survived and greatly missed by his wife Terri; two children Rollie (Laura) Dulyea of Bailey, MI, Jessica Dulyea of Lansing, MI; one step son Rodney Harding; five grandchildren Jennifer, Stephanie (Christopher) Goings, Jeff, Troy and Devin; two special girls he helped raise that called him grandpa Katrina (Steven) Gager and Kimberly Buskirk; four great grandchildren Arianna, Charlotte, little Rollie, and Chloe; two sisters Freeda (George) Phillips, Sue (Al) McMurray, and one brother Claude (Von) Dulyea.
He is preceded in death by both parents, Ronald and Delores Dulyea and a special dog, Fritz.
A celebration of life and luncheon will be held from 1-4 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Lakeview VFW Post 3701, 8968 N Greenville Rd, Lakeview, MI 48850. Those wishing to contribute in Hugh's memory are asked to consider final expenses.
