Irene Lena Neitzel's Obituary
Edmore - Irene Lena (Hansen) Neitzel, age 87, of Edmore, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, at home with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. Irene was born on April 14, 1934, in Edmore, the daughter of Russell Rudolph and Delia (Bunce) Hansen. She was raised in Edmore where she attended school. Irene married Kendall Arthur Neitzel on June 3, 1950, at the Ferris Center Church of Christ in Vestaburg, MI. Irene enjoyed gardening, sewing, feeding birds and all wildlife. Her gardens were renowned for their incredible beauty. She was a lifetime member of the Ferris Center Church of Christ.
Irene is survived in death by her three children, Julie (William "Bill") Donaghey of Barryton, Ken (Irene) Neitzel of Gillette, Wyoming, Randall Neitzel of Edmore; and one granddaughter, Tiffany Amber.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall Neitzel; and her parents, Russell and Delia Hansen.
