Jacqueline A. Heinrich's Obituary
Jacqueline Heinrich, our lovable wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids at the age of 71. A memorial mass will be held in her honor Saturday, March 4th, at 11:00 AM, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Remus with Fr. Tom Boufford as Celebrant. Family will welcome friends at the church Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to the time of service at 11:00 AM.
Jacqueline was born January 12, 1946, the daughter of Bernard and Ruth (Potter) Bellow. She married the love of her life, James, on August 8th, 1969 , and together the two grew their family to include one child, Mark. Jackie started her working career as a legal secretary before doing what she loved most, being a homemaker. After her son was grown, she decided to work as an optometrist assistant at Lapeer County Vision Center, before retiring to Canadian Lakes from Lapeer in 2005.
Jackie truly loved being around people and doing what she could to help others. She volunteered at St. Michael’s, the Canadian Lakes Association, helped with Rally for a Cure on a couple of occasions, and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Jackie was also an avid shopper, which made her a perfect fit for the Treasure Seekers group in Canadian Lakes. She very much enjoyed living on the golf course with Jim, and being able to watch all the golfers go by. Her true love in life was time spent with family, especially when it was with her grandchildren.
Loving, caring, understanding, easy to be around, and a good listener were all words used to describe Jackie. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, James Heinrich; son, Mark (Alexis) Heinrich; brother, James Bellow; grandchildren, Tanner and Claire, and five nieces and nephews.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents.
Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to St. Michael Catholic Church, or to God’s Helping Hands. Envelopes will be available at the church.
