I only just now heard about Jim's passing. I am so thankful I got to know Jim through his meticulous editing of my textbook. He demonstrated patience and perseverance, guiding me from the first edition through the fifth edition. I appreciated his direct and always constructive advice. But most of all, I appreciated his friendship. May your family have many warm memories of you. I do.
