James William Bauman's Obituary
age 90, of Stanwood passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. Funeral Mass for James will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Remus on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Father Michael Fountain & Father Aaron Ferris, co-celebrants. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday evening, November 14, 2013 from 5-8:00 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM. The family will also greet friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to the service on Friday. Burial will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
James is survived by his 6 sons, Andrew, Joseph, Frederick (Kimberly), Charles (Rose), James L. (Cynthia) and Dale (Deborah) Bauman; one daughter, Elaine (Bryce) Salvati; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great- grandchildren.
James was born in Remus on July 21, 1923, the son of Edward Albert & Mary Magdalena (Flachs) Bauman who preceded him in death; also preceding James in death are his wife, Alma in 1989; his daughter, Rose; daughter-in-law, Dolores; brothers, Albert (Helen) Bauman, Julius (Beatrice) Bauman and Edwin Bauman; sisters, Cecelia (Purl) Main and Rosena (Henry) Stamper.
