James Ralph Butcher's Obituary
Edmore-James "Jim" Ralph Butcher, age 63, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 while in Dubuque, Iowa. He was born on March 27, 1957 in Seoul Korea, the son of James Richard and Carol (Gates) Butcher. Jim was raised in the Breckenridge area and attended Cedar Lake Academy. He went on to further his education at Andrews University in Berrien Springs. Jim married Ann Savin in Las Vegas. He enjoyed golf, chess and traveling. Jim pursued his dream as he was contracted with Hirschbach Motors as Butchers Transport LLC.
Jim is survived by his wife, Jannell Korb; children, Cheryl Booth of Alabama, Jeff Savin of Canada; mother, Carol Butcher of Vestaburg; sister, Michelle (Duane McAllister) Cicerello of Alma and his dearly loved grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Ann; and his father, J. Richard Butcher in May of 2020.
