James Duane Lunsted's Obituary
Edmore - James Duane Lunsted, age 68, of Vestaburg, MI, passed away on April 22, 2016, at his home with family by his side. James was born on September 15, 1947, in Lakeview, MI, the son of Eldon and Lorena (Munn) Lunsted. He was raised in Blanchard and attended Blanchard Public Schools. James was employed by Mrs. Whetstone's Junk Yard and by The Bag Factory in Edmore. James married Cindy Lynn O'Brien in 1991 in Harrison, MI. He enjoyed collecting, working on old cars, and animals.
James will be deeply missed by his wife Cindy Lunsted of Vestaburg; six children Sheila (Dave) Cool of Edmore, Denny Lunsted of Stanton, Cindy Funch of Vestaburg, Roxanne (Matt) Frasier of Midland, Annette (Joey) McGlocklin of Edmore, and Robert "Robbie" Lunsted of Vestaburg; one sister Debra (Jack) Hoyt of Hope; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents Eldon and Lorena Lunsted; one sister Violet Allbee; and several step-siblings.
Funeral services for James will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore, MI with Pastor Susan O'Bryan officiating. Visitation for James will be on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in James memory may be made to Hospice. Burial will follow the service at Vinewood Cemetery in Edmore, MI.
