James "Jim" Lee Bovee's Obituary
James "Jim" Lee Bovee age 70, passed away Saturday, March 05, 2016 at his home in Sheridan with family at his side. James was born December 18, 1945 in Lansing, Michigan the son of Olan and Frances (Robinson) Bovee. He was united in marriage to the former Madeline "Lynn" Ross on November 23, 1968 in Haslett, Michigan. Jim enjoyed doing flee marketing, fishing, wrestling, puttering around the yard and especially anything to do with NASCAR. His canine buddies were his life. Jim will be missed dearly.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Lynn; children, Michael R. (Paula) Bovee, Tracie (Bill) Tomlinson and Patricia (Wes) Gale; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; mother, Frances Bovee; 5 brothers and sisters, Edna Prosoki, Michael A. Bovee, Susan Whitman, Sharon Bovee and Douglas Bovee. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Olan; daughter, Elizabeth and a brother, Richard.
Funeral service for Jim will take place Wednesday, March 09, 2016 at 2:00 PM from Brigham Funeral Chapel-Edmore. Visitation will also take place Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the wishes of the Bovee family.
