Remembering Jims Life of Service and sending our love to Marlene
Uncle Jim was so kind , funny , thoughtful and very generous . I loved when he and Auntie M would visit us in Florida. We played games , laughed a lot listening to stories , such a good time. Very sad to know Aunt Marlene will be making her way without him , but as he knew she's a tough cookie .I f you read this Auntie I'm only a phone call way . Love you , love Uncle Jim so proud if his life long accomplishments.

My sweet Uncle Jim.
A true gentleman.
He was one of the most generous people to ever walk this earth. Always lending his hand and doing all that he could. He touched so many lives, gave so much of himself and his time to others through out the years.
One of my favorite parts of every holiday was knowing that my Uncle Jim and Aunt Marlene would be there! He would always visit with pictures and stories of the wonderful things he and Aunt Marlene had done since we had seen him last. Bringing souvenirs from the incredible places they had visited. Always making sure to call, send letters, articles and puzzles from the news paper just to let us know they were thinking about us. That something reminded him of us while they were away.
I truly believe that Heaven will be just as kind to him as he was to this world. He was an angel among men.
A true gentleman.
He loved aunt Marlene so dearly. It was a match made perfectly. Uncle Jim was the kind of man who when he was around, a girl or woman could feel safe, respected, and protected. He went to great lengths to make others around him happy. I always loved when he shared his experiences with everyone and told stories of travel and adventure. He was the perfect man. Chivalrous, kind, compassionate, funny, had a beautiful voice as I sit here remembering when he would hum and sing little tune. He was always finding a reason to smile and sharing that smile with those around him. Growing up I remember watching out the window in wait of Uncle Jim and Aunt Marlene's RV coming down the road knowing they would be arriving with HUGE HUGS and SO MANY cool stories and pictures of their latest adventure. Stories from the people they had met from all different walks of life. I could look forward to playing games with them, going put put golfing with them, and learning SO MUCH about how to be the best person I could be. This is such a loss. I will always remember him and cherish the bright memories with him that I have.
My first pen pal,
My dear friend,
My Uncle.
May he Rest In Peace.
We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Brigham Funeral Chapel - Lakeview
Uncle Edwin was one of the best parts of the annual Kelley Family Reunions in my opinion. He was always a very kind, genuine, family man and we will miss him. Rest easy Uncle Edwin.
