James O. Marlow's Obituary
Paris - James “Jim” O. Marlow, age 80, of Paris, Michigan, passed away surrounded by love and care. He was born on October 31, 1944, to Robert and Mildred Marlow and grew up with a heart rooted in family and farming.
Jim graduated from Reed City High School with the Class of 1963. From an early age, he found his calling in farming and spent his life on his farm in Paris, Michigan, doing what he loved most—milking cows and tending to the land. Farming wasn’t just his work; it was his way of life.
Jim had a gift for conversation and never met a stranger. His gentle nature, thoughtful spirit, and warm smile made everyone feel like a friend. He was an honorary uncle to the Hanson and Fredrick families and was loved dearly by all who knew him.
Jim had several cousins and especially enjoyed the frequent visits from his cousin Gene and his wife Tammy and his cousin Angela Harrison.
Jim is survived by his cousins Gene and Tammy Harrison, Angela Harrison, Darrell Harrison, Ron Marlow, Norma Beeman and Darlene Santa, along with many friends who will forever hold his memory close.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Evergreen Terrace Assisted Living for the compassionate care they provided to Jim in his final days.
Jim will be remembered as a true friend to all, a man who lived simply, loved deeply, and left behind a legacy of kindness.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 28th at 1:00 p.m. at the Green
Township Hall, 21431 Northland Dr, Paris, MI 49338.
