James Edward Morasky's Obituary
Canadian Lakes - James Edward Morasky, age 79, of Canadian Lakes, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Jim was born May 11, 1936 in Wayne, Michigan, the son of Leonard and Mary (Ciesielski) Morasky. He was a state champion in track in high school. After graduation, James went to college and became a high school physical education teacher. Jim was an avid elk hunter and a supporter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He had a passion for hunting and fishing. Jim is survived by his children, Mark (Lydia) Morasky and Chris Morasky; grandchildren, Alex, Lauren, and Kodiak; and one brother, Bob (Sandy) Morasky. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private memorial will take place at a later date. "He was a beautiful tree in the forest and we learned a lot from growing in the shadow of his branches. We will hold our memories and know that nothing truly ends. When we walk with children in the forests and hear the rustle of the leaves in the wind, we are reminded."
