James P. Page's Obituary
Paris - James P. Page, 64, of Paris, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
He was born October 31, 1954 in Reed City, the son of Claude and Dolores (Rose) Page, and lived in Green Township his entire life. "Jimbo", as he liked to be called, was a special-needs child, and spent many hours working at M.O.A.R.C. and Hope Network. He had a great rapport with animals, and loved spending time with family and friends.
Jim is survived by his father Claude; 7 brothers, Bob (Sue) of Jenison, Jack (Vivian) of Paris, Bill of Paris, Richard (Victoria) of Ludington, Dave (Angela) of Hersey, Mike (Linda) of Paris, and Joe (Sandy) of Howard City; his sister Claudia (Bill) Johnson of Paris; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Dolores in 2010, and brothers John (2007) and Tom (2017).
The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 12, 2018, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Big Rapids, with Father Michael Burt celebrant. Burial will be in St. Anne's Cemetery near Paris. Jim's family will greet friends Sunday, November 11, 2018, from 2-4 p.m., at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with the Rosary Service beginning at 3:30 p.m. Friends may also call after 10 a.m. on Monday at the church until the time of Mass. Jimbo's family also requests casual attire for the services, please. Memorial contributions may be made to Mecosta County Animal Rescue Coalition (ARC), with envelopes available at the funeral home.
