James Michael Panek's Obituary
James Michael Panek, 57, left us to rest in the arms of his Heavenly Father on January 26, 2025.
He was born in Flint Michigan, February 5, 1967.

James is survived by his parents, Jack and Donna Panek, his daughter, Chelsea, his grandchildren Ariel and Ephraim, his sisters Christina Vallette, Amy Panek, Kulrina Panek, Jerri Panek, Alana Panek and his brothers Jack Panek, Jr., Shane Panek, and David Vallette. He is also survived by the love of his life, Teresa, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins- all of whom loved him dearly. He was proceeded in death by his twin unborn children and many other family members who he loved and missed.
James was a Master Mechanic in both gas automotive and diesel. He could fix anything you set in front of him. He started rebuilding his bikes and home appliances as a small child. He always had to figure out how something worked. James had an intricate mind and a photographic memory.
He would do anything for anyone. James had a huge heart and although he never had much, he would selflessly give what he did have to someone in need.
James was never handed anything in his lifetime and he scratched and saved and fought hard to make a life for him and his family. He appreciated every tool he owned, every piece of clothing he wore and every meal he ate.
James called his Mother, Father, Sisters, Brothers, Cousin Garry, nieces and nephews daily to remind them that he was thinking about them and that he loved him. He always reminded his family that he appreciated them and loved them, despite anything that he was enduring.
He was truly the symbol of gratitude.
James believed in God. He never ate a meal without saying a prayer- even if he was the only one saying it. He deeply believed that one day his Father God would rescue him and take him home. He was right.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you honor James’ memory by picking up the phone and calling your family members. Set all differences aside and remind them daily that you love them.
I love you, be careful.
