James Edward Sisco's Obituary
On October 29, 2023, James Edward Sisco departed this earth at the age of 80. James arrived in the summer of 43’ the 2nd Child of Ellison and Lauriane (Esch) Sisco in the town of Remus, MI., where they attended St Michael’s Catholic Church.
In the late 60’s James married Carole Ann Nostrant and they had 3 children. After their first child was born, they Left Remus and went to Grand Rapids and shortly after, onward to Wayland Michigan. James pursued a career as a Tool and Die specialist, after working a few jobs in small shops he went to work for General Motors, James moved to Kalamazoo in the 80s and retired from GM in 1998 with 30 years of service, he then moved to Six Lakes. He spent his last couple of years in Muskegon. James as a Kid was Called Butch by some and Jim by Others. One thing for sure everyone who knew Jim knew he loved beer. From his Leather-coat Rebel days in the ’60s up until the 2020s. Jim enjoyed many sporting activities where he could sit down with friends and share some beer, Golf, Bowling, Fishing, Hunting, Cards, Billiards and horseshoes. His friend groups were the Knights of Columbus in Wayland, Co-Workers of ‘The Body by Fischer’ GM plant of Kalamazoo, and The Bear Hunters Association of Remus. He also always had friends in low places from The Corner Bar & Jolly J’s in Wayland, to the Moose Clubs, and His favorite bar in Six Lakes where his Bear was displayed on the wall.
Left to mourn his loss and celebrate his life: his wife Carole, Children Dennis, Christina (Dan) and Michelle. Grandchildren Vega, Destiny, Kyle and Lyra His Brother Larry (Sandra) Sisco; Nieces, Amy and Annie.
Welcoming him on the other side, preceding him in Death are His Parents Ellison and
Lauriane, his sister Connie, niece Allison, and several friends and family.
