James Ozro Snyder's Obituary
Edmore- James Ozro Snyder, age 82, of Edmore, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland. James was born in Alma on December 11, 1942, to Ozro and Delores (Shine) Snyder. He was raised and attended school in Edmore. After graduating with The Class of 1962 from Edmore Public Schools, James served his country. He was a sergeant with the United States Army, serving in Germany for two years. On February 2, 1968, James married Annis Collette Moreland. They raised two sons together and remained married for 36 years until Collette passed in 2004. Lobdell Emery Company employed James for 32 years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, camping, and looking for yard sales. He was also a member of the Stanton American Legion. James deeply valued spending time with his family.James will be remembered and missed by his sons, Timothy Snyder of Vestaburg, Rick (Elizabeth) Snyder of Edmore; grandchildren, Justin Snyder, Janessa (Eric) Snyder, Jayceli (Aaron) Hadden, Darren Snyder, Cadence Snyder; great-grandchildren, Carson, Kyler, Jaxtyn, Hunter; siblings, David (Patricia) Snyder of Coral, Roger Snyder of Kent City, Eugene (Vikki) Snyder of Six Lakes, and Janice (Archie) Wonsey of Edmore.James is preceded in death by his parents, Ozro and Delores, and siblings, Daryl, Paul, Jacky, and Elaine.Funeral services for James will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 6, 2025, in Edmore at Brigham Funeral Chapel. Family will greet and receive friends on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
