Janet Sue Hoffman's Obituary
Edmore-Janet Sue Hoffman, age 67, of Vestaburg, passed away on May 2, 2018, after battling cancer. She was born February 9, 1951. Janet was raised in Vestaburg and is a graduate of Vestaburg High School.
She was greeted by her father, Lester Evitts; maternal grandparents, Daniel and Helen Bernice Bollinger; paternal grandparents, Miles and Ida Evitts.
Janet is survived by her mother, Alice Evitts; sister, Dawn Humphrey; brother, Ron (Shelley) Evitts; father of her children, Pat Hoffman; son, Daryl (Julie) Hoffman; daughters, Valleri (Brian) Marshall and Rebecca Hoffman; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and great nephews; dog, Murphy and cat, Dunney.
She adored her grand dogs; Bishop, Linus, Ida, Cricket and Cash.
Janet enjoyed traveling, diet coke and plain potato chips. Her hobbies were inspired by her favorite TV shows. HGTV encouraged Janet's home renovations, landscaping and bargain shopping. She also enjoyed Law and Order, but to the best of her family's knowledge, Janet maintained her innocence.
Graveside services for Janet will take place at Ferris Center Cemetery in Vestaburg, MI on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 1:00 PM. A Luncheon will be announced at the graveside. In Lieu of flowers, the family asked for memorial donations to be made payable to Woodland Hospice.
