Janet “Jann” (Whalen) Parks, age 80 of Mecosta, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, October 9, 2016 in Mount Pleasant, MI. Mass of Christian burial will take place Friday, October 14th, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Remus at 11: Read Obituary
We were so sorry to hear of Jann's passing. The Roadrunners' Club will certainly miss her at the meetings and all the other activities. She was a light that glowed brightly making everything much more warm and friendly. She truly will be missed. The Club sends their warmest thoughts and prayers to Jann's boyfriend, Dowayne, and her lovely family.
It has been 7 days, and let me tell you, I sure do miss her on facebook with all her informative information and sayings. So hard knowing that she will not be writing everyday for all of us to read. My guess is though, someone in Heaven will be reading her posts. I'm sure she has taken over as head writer. She was a wonderful caring individual full of fun and wittiness. Bernie and I send our condolences to Dowayne and family. "Have a nice day unless you have other plans"........she will be so missed!!
What beautiful memories I have of Jann and the Parks family when I worked at St. Michael Catholic Church. Jann was the dearest lady AND so talented with her quilts and other crafts! I was so blessed that she shared her warm friendship with me over the years. My prayers, love & hugs are sent to the entire family!!!
We want to wish you our sincere condolences. Jann was always a special lady and friend to us. Dave fondly remembers all the special times with the family from his college years. We are currently in Missouri so will not be able to attend Jann's memorial service. Our thoughts are with you.
