Janice Elizabeth Glazier's Obituary
Janice Glazier, formerly Janice Feyerabend, of Big Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on July 4, 1937, to Chris Walters and Elizabeth Hoy, Janice brought light and warmth to all who knew her.
A lifelong member of the Lutheran Church, Janice was a devoted parishioner of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Big Rapids. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life and a source of strength and guidance.
Janice had a love for animals, particularly horses. Several times she completed the Shore to Shore Trail Ride. She also traveled extensively throughout her life with her husband Tom, family, and friends. She enjoyed bowling and belonged to several card groups throughout the years.
She leaves behind her loving children: John Feyerabend, Daniel (Cherlie) Feyerabend, and Lisa (Craig) Davidson of Big Rapids. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Lesia Feyerabend, Fiona DeCaire, Alanna Feyerabend, Harley Feyerabend, and Claire Davidson, as well as her great-grandson, Aldwyn DeCaire.
Janice was preceded in death by her first husband, H. Robert Feyerabend, and her second husband, Floyd Thomas Glazier. She was also predeceased by her brother, Robert Walters, and her sisters Maxine Yaw, and Yvonne Wagner.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 10th, at 11 a.m. at Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Pastor Webber officiating. Visitation will take place on Monday, December 9th, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Those wishing to honor Janice’s memory may make memorial contributions to the Currie Comfort Home in Reed City. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
