Jay Johnson's Obituary
Jay Johnson, age 83, long time resident of Canadian Lakes passed away Thursday, September 15th. Jay spent many years as a school administrator in Clinton County before retiring to Canadian Lakes. Through the years Jay enjoyed traveling with his wife Kay, as well as hunting, fishing, and spending many days on his Kubota tractor at his hunting property. Jay had a great sense of humor and was always trying to make others laugh, his favorite audience being his family.
Jay will be missed by many including his wife of 51 years, Kay, his children Jennifer and Matt (Melissa) Johnson, grandchildren Lance and Krista Johnson, and his sister Brenda (Wes) Measel.
Per Jay’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held. For anyone wanting to honor Jay, the family invites you to make a donation in his memory to the Salvation Army or your favorite charity.
