He was the first to give me the history face to face in "Mecosta" when my friend, Justin and I drove up for the Family Reunion for the 1st time... & he opened his home, at the time- to us (& it was the 1st time he laid eyes on us! & it was late; (as we found out at The Berry family reunion was in a different location than Jeff)). He told us stories of good times He & his brother John had with my dad when he too was in Michigan (before my time). Jeff was the best to Justin and I and he had a genuine smile that he greeted us with...and made us truly feel welcome as we were weary travelers from Georgia to Detroit to Michigan.
Through Cousin Jeff I was blessed to learn more layers about my dad and the Berry's ...I will miss Jeff's smile but I am so blessed to have seen it light up a room! signed with Love Ms Berry(scharyl)
