Jeffrey "Jeff" John Wolbers' Obituary
Lakeview-Jeffrey "Jeff" John Wolbers, age 59, of Amble passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 3, 2020. Jeff was born in Grand Rapids on November 1, 1960, to Jack and Helen (Razmus) Wolbers. He was raised in the Grand Rapids area until the family moved to Amble when Jeff was in middle school. He graduated from Lakeview Community Schools with the class of 1978.
Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family and talking about Little Jack. You could find him camping on the river, fishing, going to find a mushroom, hunting or going for a ride to see who he could visit. He loved having people at his house and cooking for everyone. He had amazing friends and he appreciated them all. He enjoyed playing sports and spent a lot of summers on the mud volleyball court. He was employed as a forklift operator at Nestle Ice Mountain for over ten years.
Jeff will forever be missed and is survived by his children, Jessica (Kevin) Robinson of Benton Harbor, Heath (Tracy) Wolbers of St. Joseph; his grandson, Jack Wolbers; his brother, Scott (Cindy) Wolbers of Perry; his nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Helen Wolbers.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at his home, 15020 Tamarack Rd., Howard City, Michigan.
