Jeffrey Roger Sapp's Obituary
It is with immense sadness and shock that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Roger Sapp, who died in the early morning of November 25th from a sudden heart attack. Born October 30th 1965 in Grand Rapids to Paul and Roseanne Sapp, Jeff is preceded in death by his brother Tom, sister Paula Kiser and parents.
Jeff will be most remembered by his friends and family as a devoted, caring husband and father, most notably exemplified by his stellar work ethic as a Tool and Die Estimator at Guo Ji Tooling Systems, which allowed him to provide a comfortable life for his wife Shelly and three kids.
In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling with his family to many scenic ski slopes across the country, teaching his kids how to ski and imparting a love of the sport and nature. Additionally, he enjoyed camping at the family compound on Round Lake and deer camp at Camp Swampy. Jeff cared deeply for his family and that love was the driving philosophy to navigate a fruitful and beautiful life.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 29 years, Shelly and three children, David (Yeo Meng), Barrett and Penny (Tony Seaborn); a sister Kathleen Gruden (Gregory), brother John (Derek Marks) and brother-in-law’s Tim Kiser, Jacob Weston (Yvonne) and sister-in-law, Toni Grant (Adam); nephew, Andrew Kiser, and MANY friends and relatives, who will all miss him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to God’s Helping Hands.
A memorial service will be held in Jeff’s honor Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Remus, at 12:00pm. Visitation will take place at the church two hours prior to the service.
