Jerry Michael Hengy's Obituary
Lakeview-Jerry Michael Hengy, age 52, of Six Lakes, Michigan, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loved ones, on January 14, 2018. Jerry was born on September 14, 1965, in Flint, Michigan, to Richard and Donna (Holinshead) Hengy.
He was raised in the Clio and Houghton Lake, Michigan areas. Jerry worked for MC Power as a millwright, and belonged to the International brotherhood of electrical workers. He enjoyed mud trucking, and racing of every kind. (If it had a motor, he would watch it.) But most of all he loved his family and spending and spending time with them.
Jerry is survived by 8 children Candace Richardson, Cody Spencer, Dylan Smith, and Amanda, Amber, Michael, Lance (Kalen), and Matthew Hengy, his mother, Donna Hengy, and his significant other, Shala Stevens, 13 grandchildren, Alina Staffen, Lotus and Zalea Taylor, Cosson, Cainan and Cassandra Spencer, Jeffery, Alex, Mackenzie and Emma Richardson, Tonya ( ), Richard (Melanie Hengy and Tammy (John) Day.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hengy.
A celebration of Jerry's life will take place Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Baptist Church, with pastor Zane Abberger officiating.
