Jesse John Perdue's Obituary
Big Rapids - Jesse John Perdue, 24, of Big Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 4, 2013, at his home in Big Rapids. He was born on July 18, 1989 in Big Rapids, the parents of John Perdue and Nancy Carcone. Jesse was a senior in the Criminal Justice Program at Ferris State University. He was a very accomplished musician, playing many Beatles' songs, along with writing his own music. Jesse is survived by his parents; 2 sisters, Mallory Perdue of Grand Rapids, and Terri Julite of Detroit; his grandparents Janine Perdue, Al and Joyce Carcone, his uncle Charles (Beth) Perdue; his nephew Jacob Perdue; his cousin Neil Perdue; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather John "Jack" Perdue. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 11, 2013, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Pastor Clay Bates officiating. Jesse's family will greet friends at the funeral home after 10:00 a.m. on Friday. An additional memorial gathering will take place from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, at the Eastern Hall, located on the corner of Eastern and Michigan Avenues in Grand Rapids.
