Jill Marie Koster's Obituary
Lakeview-Jill Marie (Seadorf) Koster, age 50, of Six Lakes passed away at her home on Thursday, December 9, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born in Grand Rapids on June 5, 1971, to Larry and Patricia (VanHam) Seadorf. Jill was raised in Byron Center, graduating from high school in 1989. She continued her education at Grand Rapids Junior College where she earned an Associates Degree. She was employed as a truck driver by Handley Trucking, as a bank Teller at Byron Center Bank and as an accountant for Spartan Stores. Jill married Alan Koster on November 28, 2008, in Wyoming, MI. She loved being out in nature, enjoying the sunshine, cats and training horses. Most important was the deep love she shared with her family and her Lord and Savior, Jesus.
A very heartfelt thank you goes to Jill's special caregiver, Karey Jensen, for the excellent and compassionate care given over the past 2 years.
Jill is survived by her husband, Alan of Six Lakes; son, Shadrach Steven Feenstra of Greenville; and a brother, Steven Seadorf of Byron Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Patricia.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview, with Pastor Tom Stone officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Six Lakes. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday, December 13 and again on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service, at the funeral chapel.
