John Robert Hough's Obituary
Lakeview-John Robert Hough, age 61, of Lakeview passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. He was born on April 8, 1962, in Lakeview where he was raised and attended school, graduating with the Class of 1980. John married Traci Stevens on June 29, 1991, at the Brockway Wesleyan Church in Morley. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, farming and riding side by side. John was employed as a machine mechanic at Parker Hannifin in Lakeview for over 20 years and most recently at B&B Dairy in Lakeview. He will be remembered as a good man with a big smile who loved his family and spending time with them.John is survived by his wife, Traci of Lakeview; sons, Colton John and Colin William Hough, both of Lakeview; 5 siblings, Mary Jo (Steve) Earl of Edmore, Bill (Jill) Hough of Blanchard, Teresa (Ed) Liscombe of Albion, Elizabeth Anne Thomas of Grand Blanc, "Mickie" Alicia (Dan) Fredricks of Blanchard; mother-in-law, Diane Nichols of Mecosta; sisters-in-law, Pat McClain of Stanton, Toni (Gary) Young of Lakeview, Trina (Jack) Panek of Mecosta, Tammi (Bryan) McCracken of Sand Lake; brother-in-law, Ken Nichols of Lakeview; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.He was preceded in death by his mother, Kay Janice Hough-Brandt; and his fathers-in-law, Rolland Stevens and Kenneth Nichols.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview. The family will greet friends from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral chapel. Interment will follow at West Pine Cemetery in Coral.
