Joseph "Joe" Mitchel Foster's Obituary
Edmore-Joseph "Joe" Mitchel Foster, age 61, of Stanton passed away at his home on Saturday, August 15, 2020. Joe was born in Edmore on April 12, 1959, the son of Jack and Gail (Jensen) Foster. He was raised in the Edmore area, where he attended Montabella Community Schools, graduating with the class of 1979. Joe married Sally Kinney on October 10, 1987, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Edmore. He was employed by Alma Collision and then as a self-employed auto body technician. Joe loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed hunting, camping, riding 4-wheelers, and working on his 1981 Chevrolet Corvette.
Joe is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sally Foster of Stanton; his sons, Cody (Eden Stevens) Foster of Ionia, Christopher (Bridgett) Foster of Clare; his grandson, Felix; his mother, Gail Foster of Edmore; brothers, Dan (Becky) Foster and Scott (Susan) Foster, all of Wasilla, AK.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack D. Foster.
A private family service will be held, with Pastor Dan Barkholz officiating. Interment will be at Vinewood Cemetery in Edmore.
