Joseph Paul Krapek's Obituary
Joseph Paul Krapek, age 77, of Riverdale passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, at home with his family by his side. Joseph was born on May 7, 1946, in Breckenridge at the family farm. He was the son of Pavel and Agnes (Koluch) Krapek. He married Vicky Moon on August 20, 1966, in Alma, Michigan. During their 57 years of marriage, they raised 3 children. Joseph grew up working on the family farm with his dad. He was later employed by Alma Products until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, farming and could always be found working and building projects in the garage.Joseph is survived by his wife, Vicky Krapek of Riverdale; 3 children, Tina (Don) Devers of Vestaburg, David (Tamyra) Krapek of Mt. Pleasant, Kelley (John) Johnson of Riverdale; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, Pavel and Agnes Krapek; brother, Anton Krapek; sister, Ann Scott.A celebration of Joseph's life will be held at his home, 11743 E. Tamarack Rd., Riverdale, on Saturday, May 11, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM.
