Josephine Marie Robinson's Obituary
Hersey - Josephine Marie Robinson, 78, of Hersey, passed away December 28, 2017, in Haines City, Florida following a short illness. She was born January 26, 1939 in Bitely, the son of JD and Beatrice (Longcore) Lamb. For many years, she was employed at Wolverine World Wide in Big Rapids. On July 8, 2017, Joey was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Lonnie. Joey and Lonnie loved living on the water and enjoyed many years of boating in Michigan, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida. Joey most loved spending time with her family, spending evenings by the bonfire at her home on the Muskegon River. She loved being outdoors creating beautiful flower gardens and enjoyed feeding and watching the many varieties of birds that visited their home. Josephine is survived by 2 daughters, Lori J. (David) Maxon, and Denise M. (Mikael) VanAlstine; 2 sons, Paul L. (Stacey) Bybee, Jr., and Ernest E. (Kris) Bybee; and 3 step-children, Darci Robinson, Brad Robinson and Curt Robinson; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one brother, J.D. Lamb, and one sister, Jeraldine Lamb. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Becky Ann Bybee and her sister Jackie. Funeral and Comittal Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 4, 2017, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Pastor Ron Witbeck officiating. Burial will be in the Lilley Township Cemetery near Bitely.Joey's family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 AM on Thursday until time of services.
