Joshua Paul Wieczorek's Obituary
Joshua Paul Wieczorek, age 28, went into the loving arms of the Lord. Josh was born July 18, 1987 in Grand Rapids, MI, the son of Joseph Peter and Regina Lynne (Westbrook) Wieczorek. He was raised in Trufant and graduated from Lakeview High School Class of 2006. Josh received an Associates in Arts from Grand Rapids Community College. Josh enjoyed working as a Real Estate Agent. On June 30, 2012, Joshua married Sharcy Rose Ray in Trufant, MI.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Sharcy Ray Wieczorek, his parents, Joe and Gina Wieczorek, his devoted sisters, Carissa Wieczorek Wiebusch (Dan Ellison), Casey Carr (Travis), and his nephew Joey Wiebusch who adored him and loved playing with his "Uncle Josh". His aunts Mary Tonneberger and Christine Kacienda, Laurie Vollink (Todd), Renee Westbrook, and his grandparents Norma and Bud Watcher.
He is preceded in death by his big brother, Joey Wieczorek, his grandparents Helena and Paul Wieczorek, his uncles John and Paul Wieczorek, his aunts Diana Westbrook and Wanda Banas.
Joshua loved nature hikes, animals, reading, listening to and creating music. He was generous with his time and he volunteered at Heartside in Grand Rapids, tutoring adults, many of them homeless. Josh loved people; anyone he met was a friend. He was a social "butterfly", enjoying and uplifting any occasion with family and friends. He was sensitive, loving, and devoted to his family.
He will never be forgotten, because a life that touches others, is NEVER forgotten!!!
Funeral services for Josh will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lakeview, MI, with Father James Weiss officiating. Interment to follow in Trufant Cemetery. Visitation for Josh will be on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview, Michigan. The luncheon will be in the Brigham Funeral Chapel Banquette Room. Those on planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider Heartside where he volunteered.
