Joyce Ann Laurion's Obituary
Joyce Ann Laurion, age 80, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017, shortly after her beloved husband, Fritz. A Memorial Mass in her and Fritz’s honor will be held Friday, January 27, 2017, at 11:00AM, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Remus, with Father Tom Boufford as Celebrant. Visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service.
Joyce was born April 23, 1936, the daughter of John and Juanita (Kircher) Jacobson. She was best known for her artistic abilities and numerous crafts she enjoyed. From painting to basket weaving, and everything in-between, there wasn’t a craft Joyce hadn’t tried her hand at.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Melissa (Thomas) Troyanowski, Jacquelyn (Michael) Clark and Robert (Sylvia) Laurion; eight grandchildren, Bradley (Dana), Matthew, and Andrew Troyanowski, Michael and Miranda Laurion, and Theresa, Allison, and Jason Clark; two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Fritz Troyanowski; one brother, Buzz (Kathy) Brazeau, and many nieces and nephews.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, John Jacobson.
Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, Envelopes will be available at the church.
