Joyce Arlene Lee's Obituary
On September 2, 2022, Joyce Lee, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at the age of 73 at Spectrum Health Butterworth, Grand Rapids, MI.Joyce was born November 6, 1948 in St.Johns, MI to Ralph and Evelyn (Harlow) Goodsite. She was blessed to have four loves in her life: Raymond Jaquays, father of Sheila (Jaquays) Zinck, Verne Lee, John Avram, and her surviving husband Bruce Carson.Joyce graduated from Ferris State College, becoming a dental assistant and managing dental insurance for the majority of her career. She took classes at Montcalm Community College to increase her business and financial knowledge. This led her to work for H&R Block for the last years of her career and help various friends and family with their taxes.She enjoyed spending time with her family, square dancing friends, friends from the Lakeview pool, and many other long time friends. She always had a love for animals, especially cats. She was an avid reader, most recently of mystery and crime drama. She also enjoyed exploring new restaurants and seeing the sights.Joyce is survived by her husband Bruce, her daughter Sheila (Mark) Zinck, and her grandson Andy (Macey) Zinck.
