Joyce L Perkins' Obituary
Joyce Perkins passed away peacefully on October 10, 2016 at Arbor Grove Assisted Living at the age of 87 years old. She was born July 9, 1929 in Fremont, Michigan.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Cathy (Kim) Snyder, her two grandchildren; Derek (Brienne) Snyder and Daren (Erika) Snyder, her four great-grandchildren; Blake, Brayden, Lincoln and Eden. Joyce is also survived by her niece, Rena Ray and nephew, Gary Hansen, a cousin Betty Krawsek, along with many special members of the Perkins family, all of whom she loved dearly.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Alden Perkins, her parents, Leo and Beatrice Hall and her sister, Alice Hansen.
Joyce was a woman full of love and life, she dearly loved her family, her animals and any chance to play cards or make a trip to the casino with friends. No matter who she was with or what she was doing, there was always fun and laughter. A delightful person, she will be missed by many.
The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff at Arbor Grove Assisted Living in Alma for their excellent care of Joyce.
There will be a celebration of Joyce's life to be held at the Edmore Township Hall on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 12 Noon until 3 PM. Friends and family are invited to attend to share fellowship and fond memories of Joyce. Interment will take place in the McBride Cemetery, with private graveside service for family.
