Juanita Marie Crooks' Obituary
Big Rapids - Juanita M. Crooks, 77, of Morley, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Altercare of Big Rapids, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 6, 1940 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Christian and Dorothy (Carter) Bentley. The eldest of 13 children, Juanita graduated from Big Rapids High School.
Juanita was a sweet, caring, and fun-loving mother and grandmother. She loved listening to music, and watching her favorite actor, Johnny Depp. She was constantly reading, cross-stitching and knitting, and always enjoyed having a good laugh.
She is survived by her son Lester Stahle of Morley; her husband, Michael Crooks of Roger Heights; her siblings, Lorenda Lytle of Reed City, Richard Bentley of Hersey, Laura Stahle of Cedar Springs, and Allen Bean of Hopewell, VA; her grandchildren Lisa Stahle of Dorr, Lester (Suzy) Dutcher of Lansing, Kyle (Jackee Harris) Stahle of Morley, Brandon (Dessyrea Juarez) Stahle of Big Rapids, Charlene Burch of Cedar Springs, Brian Maguire of Kansas, and Amber Aldrich of Oklahoma; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Charlene Hansen, and her siblings Sharlene Bentley, Marjorie Windstone, Beverly Earnest, Leah Finney, Roberta Sprague, William Bentley, and James Bentley.
Family committal services will be in the Grandville Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her daughter, Charlene Hansen. Her celebration of life and memorial service is yet to be determined; please look to Facebook for more details.
