Karen Kay Carrick's Obituary
Edmore-Karen Kay (Foster) Carrick, age 81 of Edmore, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, June 15,2023, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Karen was born in Edmore on March 22, 1942, to Harold and Darlys (Baumgardner) Foster. She married Bert Edward Carrick Jr. of Vestaburg on January 17, 1958, in Lansing, MI. Karen and Bert loved to travel and loved their family. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and cross-stitching. She loved movies, especially horror or crime shows. Karen was also the keeper of the family genealogy for the past 45 years. Surviving are her sons, Bert (Linda) of Franklin, TN, Brett (Diana) of Dallas, TX, Brad (Vicki) of Grand Island, NE, Barry of Grand Island, NE, Brook (Cindy) of Austin, TX; daughter, Kristin of Edmore; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; brother, Lindy (Glenna) Foster of Vestaburg; and sister, Marsha Myers of Crystal. She was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate, Bert; and her parents. There are no services planned at this time.
