Karen Lucille Pruden's Obituary
Edmore- Karen Lucille Pruden, age 74, of Edmore passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Prestige in Mt. Pleasant. Karen was born in Charlotte on July 25, 1949, to Roy and Dorothy (Blaine) Pruden. She was raised in Edmore, graduating in 1967 from Montabella High School. Karen was employed at Capital Area Transportation Authority as a bus driver for 15 years, until her retirement in 2011. She liked taking walks and looking for money and treasures on the ground, she loved country music, NASCAR, and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.Karen is survived by her daughters Kerri (Duane) Peterson of Edmore, Kristine (Rob) Pritchard of Irvine, Kentucky; grandchildren Dave (Shaina), Alyssa (Sean), Ryan (Bobby), Drew, Luna, Nick (Paula), David, Duane Jr. (Savannah), Nicole (Scott), Logan, Ellie; great-grandchildren Jacey, Trinity, Karson, Ember, RJ, Kaleb, Kameron, William, Caleb, Kimberlee, Kilee, Zander; sister Alice Sackett of Rodney; nephews Jeff (Tamara), Brian (Abby); and special companion Jim Karow.Karen was preceded in death by both her parents.A private memorial will be held at a future date. Contributions to Karen's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Dementia Society of America.
