Kathleen T. Schinderle's Obituary
Big Rapids-Kathleen T. Schinderle, 94, of Big Rapids passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2015, at Evergreen Terrace Assisted Living in Big Rapids, Michigan. She was born on October 28, 1920 in Graceville, Minnesota, the daughter of Aloysuis J. and Eunice F. (Grebin) Trainor. Kathleen was a life long resident of Big Rapids. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of St. Benedict's in Washington D.C. in 1942 and a Masters degree in Library Science from University of Michigan in 1944, where she met her husband, Albin J. Schinderle, former City Attorney who preceded her in death in 1986. Kathleen was a long time member of Big Rapids Garden Club. She is survived by two sons, Ronald Schinderle of Big Rapids and Gary (Sue) Schinderle of Canadian Lakes, one granddaughter, Kristy Ann (Patrick) Dominiak of Charleston, S.C. and 3 great grandchildren, Seth, Brooke and Ally Dominiak. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 23, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Big Rapids with Father Michael Burt celebrant. Her family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in the spring. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic School of Big Rapids or Right to Life MI. Envelope will be available at the church.
