Kayla June King's Obituary
Kayla June King, age 51, passed away Wednesday morning, April 12, 2017 at home with her family. Kayla was born on February 23, 1966 the daughter of Myron "Jim" and Shirley (Getts) King.
Kayla was God's greatest blessing to her family. Even though she had health problems her entire life she didn't let that stop her from loving life and making the best of it. Kayla's life was different but very unique and was an amazing journey. She loved watching wrestling; the Undertaker was her favorite. Kayla had a great sense of humor; she loved to tease and make up nicknames for her family. Kayla enjoyed listening to rock and roll music. She hated the weather man. Kayla loved Christmas but hated the snow that came along with it. Kayla was loved by all who had the chance to meet her. She will be dearly missed.
Kayla is survived by her loving parents; Jim and Shirley King, siblings; Debora (Tony) Beemer, James King, Beverly Eller, Kelly King and Carla King, 12 nieces and 4 nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Kayla was preceded in death by her grandparents; Russel King and Doris King-Gilliam and Ralph and Pricilla Getts and several aunt and uncles.
In keeping with Kayla's wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service is being planned for April 22, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the family's home, 2550 N. Douglas Rd., Riverdale, MI 48877. With a luncheon to follow the service. Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the "Wishes of the King Family".
