Kevin Joseph Belcher's Obituary
Big Rapids - Kevin Joseph Belcher, 59 of Big Rapids, died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Kevin was a kind and loving father and uncle who enjoyed the outdoors. His sense of humor will be greatly missed Kevin is survived by his children Nicholas (Julie) Good of Lansing, Emileigh (Nathan) Buchinger of Bath, and Derrick Belcher of Texas; grandchildren Rylee Good and Nataleigh, Adam & Ian Buchinger. He is also survived by eight siblings, Stephen (Kathy) Belcher, Maureen Belcher, Jeanne (Gary) Bluhm, and Susan Samuels all of Big Rapids, Mary (John) Fischer of Midland, Ann (Ken) Malm of Omaha, NE, Rosemary (Steve) Dekker of Florida, and Jacqui Porter of Toledo, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; his aunt and uncle, Paul and Lois Belcher Hammond of Tulsa, OK and aunt Shirley Hoffert of Arizona; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwain Joseph Belcher and the Rev. Barbara (Hofmann) Belcher. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be at 2:00 pm. Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Big Rapids with the Reverend David Pike officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the West Michigan Episcopal Cursillo (WMEC) at 1550 Bowler Road, Hastings, MI 49058 c/o Colin Cruttenden.
