Kevin Harold VanSyckle's Obituary
Big Rapids -Kevin H. VanSyckle, 54, of Big Rapids, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2014. He was born on August 6, 1959 in Big Rapids, the son of Henry L. and Carol L. (Hudson) VanSyckle. He graduated from Big Rapids High School in 1977. He was a truck driver. His special interest were baseball, his pets; dogs and cats, music and working around the yard. Kevin is survived by six children, Shalyn (Rod) Russell, Rob (Tracy) Wilber, Tasha (Dorian) Frazier, Sean (Tracy) VanSyckle, Stacey Wilber, Shane (Kimberly) VanSyckle, 16 grandchildren and one brother, Guy VanSyckle. Also surviving are his dear friends, Todd and Dawn Starr plus aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, Bud and Zelma Hudson and Jess and Lottie VanSyckle. A memorial gathering will be from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids. Memorial contributions may be made to Mecosta County Animal Rescue Coalition.
