Khalil Michael Muhammad's Obituary
Once upon a time there lived a little boy named Khalil Michael Muhammad. And even though he lived a short life, Khalil brought his family so much joy. On October 2, 2022, two angels came and took him to heaven and placed him into the arms of Jesus. We love him dearly, and are heartbroken that he had to go. But God has a plan that we do not know.
Left to cherish Khalil's memory are his parents Shaquill Muhammad and Emmalee Hobbs; his brother Elijah; his sister Elaynah; grandparents, Etta Welch, Edward Woodard (Muhammad), Jaime Beemer, and James Ward; honorary grandparents Krissy and Andrew Gruchow; aunts, Kiki (Kalon) Dickerson, Aliyah (Kurt) Yearwood, Desiree, Delia, and Annieyah Welch, Aliyah (Brandon) Rauch, and Alexis Ward; uncles, Conner Ward, Alim (Jasmine) Muhammad, Edward, Eden, and Bryson Welch; many cousins and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Arletha Grayer, Robert Clemons, and Michael and Cheryl Hobbs.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Pastor Denise Suttles officiating. Burial will follow in Highland View Cemetery in Big Rapids. Khalil's family will greet friends beginning at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
