Kurt Wade Sleight's Obituary
Kurt Wade Sleight, 57 years old, died of cardiac arrest on March 23, 2022, at Sparrow Hospital in Ionia, Michigan during his courageous battle with lymphoma cancer.
On May 3, 1964, Kurt was born in Lakeview, Michigan, to his parents, Vivian Margarette and Robert Ralph Sleight.
He graduated from Greenville High School in 1983.
Kurt is survived by his daughter, Missy (Tim) Collins, of Edmore; his Son, Patrick Sleight of Edmore, granddaughters Tabby and Sandy Anderson of Edmore; and his fiancée Kimm Cruz, of Edmore. His Mom, Vivian Margarette Scofield Carr of Stanton, Brother Ralph (Betty) Sleight of Trufant, Sisters - Debbie Wabich of Gowen, Sue Sleight of Riverdale, Robin Kalnins of Greenville and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Ralph Sleight, his infant brother Theodore, grandparents, and his nephew Tyler Kalnins,
He devoted his time and energy as a caregiver to his son Patrick. He loved fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on April 10, 2022, at 2 pm, VFW 1490 E. Main St., Edmore, Michigan 48829; Paul Rau (friend of Kurt) will officiate.
