Lane Eugene Jensen's Obituary
Lane Eugene Jensen, age 77, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Laurels of Carson City. He was born on December 24, 1946, in Edmore, the son of Elwyn and Letha Elaine (Outman) Jensen. He graduated from high school and was employed by General Motors in the production of automotive parts for over 30 years before retiring in 1995. He joined the Army National Guard in December of 1965 where he served 6 years before he was relieved from duty in 1971. Lane had many hobbies, including gardening, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family. Lane will be missed by his children, Tracy (Tim) Bohen, Tayna Walker, and Troy Jensen; grandchildren, Garrison, Lily, Taven, Traylee (Vince), Trever (Aubree), Taylyn, and Tyler; great- grandchildren, Jackson, Ashlyn, and Carver; sister, Beverly (Richard) Bigelow. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elwyn and Letha and his brother, Robert (Carol) Jensen. A celebration of Lane's life will be held on Friday, December 8 at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore at 3PM. A visitation will take place before the service starting at 1PM. Because Lane loved his flannels, the family asks that you wear your flannel in honor of him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Montcalm County Animal Shelter or Cannonsville Critters.
