Larry J. Bronson's Obituary
Larry J. Bronson, age 75 of Blanchard, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013. A funeral service will take place Monday, July 8, at the Blanchard Wesleyan Church at 11:00am. Pastors Ruth and Allen Petersen will officiate with burial to follow at Decker Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hansen Janowicz Funeral Home in Remus Sunday, July 7, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, and will continue at the church on Monday from 10:00am to the time of service at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Blanchard Wesleyan Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at church.
Larry was born November 6, 1937, in Remus, MI, the son of the late Charles and Anna (Denslow) Bronson. He married Margaret McNeilly on July 7, 1957, in Barryton. Sadly, Margaret passed away on December 5, 2009.
Hard working, passionate, and helpful were a few words used to describe Larry. He was known to help others with their vehicles, snow plowing, and grass mowing, which is how he showed his love for others, through his service. He was a lover of animals especially his dog Bear. His hobbies would include working on vehicles, and lawn mowers as well as shopping for good deals on them.
Left to cherish his memory are his children; Dennis (Colleen) Bronson, Duane (Cheri) Bronson, Darwin (Pam) Bronson, Darlene (Norm) Haygood, and Diane Karcher; 14 grandchildren; brother, Roger (Judy) Bronson; and sister, Eileen (Richard) Burke.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents; sister, Charleen; and great-grandson, Dylan.
