Laura Belle Edwards' Obituary
Edmore-Laura Belle (Bloss) Edwards, age 88, of Stanton passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones April 02, 2022. She was born on April 19, 1933, to Harry and Mina (Palmer) Bloss. Laura was born Matherton, Michigan but raised in Crystal, Michigan. Laura married the love of her life Robert Edwards in 1952 and enjoyed 68 years together. She was employed by Evergreen Township as the treasurer for 41 years, also as a bookkeeper for several area agricultural businesses, the Montcalm County Courthouse, and Stanton Elevator.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Jean Nietzel) Edwards, Rodney Edwards, Craig (Kathy Chapin) Edwards; her daughter, Annette (Tim) Fountain; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brothers, Tom Bloss, Robert (Connie) Bloss, David Bloss; sister Ruth Edwards, brother-in-law, Howard (Donna) Edwards, Bill Edwards; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edwards; parents, Harry and Mina; grandson, Aaron Michael Edwards; great grandson, Levi Ryan Fountain; brother, Mearl Bloss; two sisters, Maxine Witter, and Marcine Fishburn; brothers-in-law, Dwane Edwards, and Robert Fishburn; sister-in-law, Mary Bloss
The family will have a celebration of Laura's life at Tim and Annette's home, 2775 E. Sidney Rd Sheridan, MI 48884 on July 09, 2022, at 1p.m.
