Lena Mae Brigham's Obituary
Lakeview-Lena Mae Brigham, age 73, of Stanton passed away on April 18, 2019 at the Laurels of Fulton, surrounded by her family. Lena was born on November 19, 1945 in Pontiac, the daughter of Orval and Maxine (Wilson) Keeler. She was raised in the Stanton area and attended high school there. Lena married George Brigham in December of 1963 in Stanton. She worked for Gibsons, Frigidaire and then Electrolux for 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, especially for salmon, going to garage sales, watching westerns, and doing crossword puzzles. Lena was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Sheridan Post #5065.
Lena is survived by her 3 sons, George (Cathy) Brigham Jr., Bruce Brigham and Scott Brigham; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Barb (Ray) Surline of Port Huron, Bob (Judy) Keeler of Stanton, Vernon (Karen) Keeler of Stanton, Gloria Davis of Port Huron, Roger Keeler of Lansing, Tom Keeler of Arizona, Debbie Johnson of Holt, Orval "Jr." Keeler of Stanton, Barb (Max) Shaffer of Port Gratiot, Pam (Steve) Jenks of Hudsonville and Joe Pellish of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Brigham; her parents, Orval and Maxine Keeler; and her siblings, Iris Weeks, Randy Keeler and Sandy Burley.
Services for Lena will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Brigham Funeral Chapel Lakeview with Pastor Tommy Turner officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, April 23 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Stanton.
