Leon William Salters' Obituary
Leon William Salters, age 85, passed away December 18, 2022, at his home on Horsehead Lake. Leon was a Meridian township fireman/EMT and a meat cutter at Okemos Meijer, he also worked at Lakeside Marina in his later years. The last of 10 brothers and sisters from St. Johns MI. He was married for 59 years to Linda [Bradley] Salters who passed in 2017. Leon and Linda raised their family in Haslett MI and are survived by all three boys Scott [Christina], Mark, Mike [Karen]. He was a wonderful grandpa and great grandpa to all his grandchildren. Leon was very social and helpful to anyone, even complete strangers. Leon was a friend to everyone. He will be missed.
